Lead Guitar

Nigel has been playing guitar for more than 40 years, (no wonder his fingers ache!) in a variety of styles from Blues to Country and most recently in a Shadows Tribute Band.

Biggest musical influences are Hank Marvin, Mark Knopler, Brian May, Eric Clapton, The Eagles, Santana, Paul Rodgers, America, James Burton and Spagetti Western Themes.

He uses a variety of Guitars but his favorite is the Fender Telecaster as the range of sounds it produces make it ideal for Rock & Blues.

Bass Guitar

Although Dave is a classical trained Keyboard player he also has many years experience as a Bass player. Dave uses Line 6 & Yamaha Basses with Mark Bass and Peavey Amps. He also plays in a Dire Straits tribute band.

Drums

With years of experience in countless musical settings, Chris has developed a creative, understated style of drumming that fits right in with the Jacksboro Highway Band.

“The great thing about the Jacksboro’s is getting to play music from the dawn of the rock and roll era right up to the present day,” says Chris.

Favourite drummers include: Stewart Copeland (The Police), Ron Tutt (Elvis Presley) Bingo (The Banana Splits).

Mark

Keyboard

Mark has been playing keyboards from an early age, occasionally dabbling in
rhythm and bass guitar.

He started songwriting whilst still at school, a habit he still finds hard to break.

Mark has played in a variety of bands from
show bands to purist old school R&B. He can still be seen playing Blues in pubs around Cheltenham from time to time in Profoundly Blue.

He plays a Yamaha PSR8000 which has a vast array of sounds (for which he
will one day find the right buttons)
